The proposal started with asking Sierra’s father for her hand in marriage while we were on vacation with her parents in Sun River, Oregon. I had no idea that this was going to be such a stressful process but Dad said “yes” and now it was up to Sierra. About a month later I made a trail of rose pedals from Sierra’s bedroom down to her living room while she was in the shower. After what seemed like forever, a puzzled Sierra rounded the corner following the petals to find me on one knee asking her if she would marry me. In a state of shock she was thrilled to say “yes” and we were officially engaged!
